[1] Love Actually 真爱至上

　　The film begins with a voiceover from David (Hugh Grant) commenting that whenever he gets gloomy with the state of the world he thinks about the arrivals terminal at Heathrow Airport, and the pure uncomplicated love felt as friends and families welcome their arriving loved ones. David's voiceover also relates that all the known messages left by the people who died on the 9/11 planes were messages of love and not hate. The film then tells the 'love stories' of many people。

　　Each story is linked in some way except for Billy Mack and his manager, who are not friends with any of the characters; however, he appears frequently on characters' radios and TVs; his music video provides an important plot device for Sam's pursuit of Joanna; the pair also cross paths with the other characters in the closing Heathrow scene. John and Judy work with Tony who is best friends with Colin who works for a catering company that works at the office where Sarah, Karl, Mia, and Harry work and also catered Peter and Juliet's wedding.。。

　　The story begins with Noah, an 80 year old man, reading a story from a notebook to a woman in a nursing home. Noah, 31, returns from World War II and finishes the restoration of his Antebellum plantation-style home after his father's death. Meanwhile Allie, 29, sees the house in the newspaper and decides to pay him a visit。

　　Their reunion after fourteen years brings on a flood of memories and strong emotions in both of them. They have dinner together and talk about their lives and the past. Allie comes to know how her mother prevented her from reading Noah's letter. They talk about what could have happened between them without her mother's interference. At the end of the night, Noah invites Allie to come back the next day and promises her a surprise. She could not refuse. During this time, her fiancée Lon tries to reach her at the hotel, but Allie does not reply and he begins to worry.。。

　　Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) is a 38-year-old father who is in the midst of a divorce. Will gives in, but decides to change the names and some of the facts relating to the various love affairs of his youth, thereby creating a love mystery; Maya is left guessing which of the women will turn out to be her mother. The story he tells Maya is depicted in long flashbacks. From time to time the film switches back to the present, where Maya comments (often disdainfully) and asks questions.。。

　　Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) arrives at JFK International Airport, but finds that he is not allowed to enter the United States. 　　nation and denies Viktor's entrance to the US. Unable to leave the airport or return to Krakozhia, Viktor instead lives in the terminal, carrying his luggage and a mysterious Planters peanut can。

　　Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Head Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci)， who wants Navorski removed from the airport. Navorski collects money for food by retrieving vacant baggage trolleys for the 25 cent reward from the machine, until Dixon prevents this. He then befriends a catering car driver named Enrique (Diego Luna) who gives him food in exchange for information about a female Customs and Border Protection officer(Zoë Saldana)， who Enrique is infatuated with.。。

Amanda is an extreme workaholic. Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet) is a society column editor for The Daily Telegraph in London。

　　Iris has been in love with Jasper Bloom (Rufus Sewell) for over three years, even though she broke up with him after he cheated on her with another girl in the office. At the office Christmas party, her boss announces the engagement of Jasper Bloom with the other girl, and Iris is deeply hurt. Meanwhile, Amanda discovers that her live-in boyfriend (Edward Burns) has cheated on her with his secretary. She decides she wants to get away for the holidays.。。

　　Shortly after the surrender of Japan, marking the end of World War II, United States Army Sgt. The war has left him with emotional scars, and he experiences flashbacks on a regular basis。

　　Paul's reunion with Betty is strained, especially after he discovers most of the letters he wrote her were set aside unopened.
