教育部新政收紧“高考[微博]加分”

　　近日辽宁省本溪市高级中学2014年高考生1000多名，获得体优生加分者高达87人，受到众多考生和学生家长[微博]的质疑。日前教育部发布文件，明确表示从2014年起将大幅减少全国奥赛科技类加分、体育特长生加分和地方性加分项目，其他加分项目分值普遍由20分降至10分内。

　　The Ministry of Education is tightening up a preferential policy that awards bonus points in the national college entrance exams, or gaokao, to students with exceptional ability in the sciences and sports, amid recent worries about abuse of the system。

　　近日不少民众表现出对滥用高考加分制度的担忧，教育部日前出台新政，收紧高考加分政策。这一加分政策是针对在科学和体育上有杰出表现的学生。

　　“高考加分政策”就是preferential policy that awards bonus points in the national college entrance exams。“加分”的英文表达是awards bonus points。近日由于辽宁本溪高级中学出现多名体优生加分者，受到众多质疑，进而对高考的bonus-point system(加分制度)也产生争议。

　　根据教育部新发布的文件，可获得加分的体育项目将从原先的70个降至17个。17个省份将reduce the bonus points awarded from 20 points to 10 or below(把加分分值从20分降至10分内)。此外，奥赛省级赛区获奖考生也将不再gain admission to college without taking the gaokao(获得保送录取资格)。
