BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- An advanced national examination and enrollment system for China's schools and universities will be established by 2020, according to a circular released by China's State Council on Thursday。

　　To reach the goal, pilot programs will begin this year, and the reform efforts will be expanded nationwide three years later, according to the circular on national examination and enrollment system reform。

　　The government aims for a system that will promote fairness and supervision and connect all levels and types of education, said Du Yubo, vice minister of education, at a news conference。

　　新浪教育[微博]讯：根据《国务院关于深化考试招生制度改革的实施意见》。考生总成绩将由统一高考[微博][微博]的语文、数学、外语三个科目成绩及高中学业水平考试三个科目成绩组成。语文、数学及外语的分值将保持不变，将不再分文理科。其中，外语科目将提供两次考试机会。

　　2014年，上海、浙江将分别出台高考综合改革试点方案，从2014年秋季入学的高一学生起开始实施。

　　此项政策与早期备受关注的“外语退出高考统一考试”略有出入，新浪外语将持续关注高考外语改革事宜。
