　　An Announcement

　　Jan. 14, 2006

　　A contest — Foreigners Sing Chinese Songs — is to be held on February 14-24, 2006, by International Department of China Central Television Station (CCTV). The contest consists of three stages (preliminary, semi-final, and final).

　　Foreigners who work, study, or live in China are eligible to take part in the contest. Registration is required via hotlines (010) 82073660 and (010) 62043340 and a tape of participant’s singing must be submitted to Editor Zhang Ying of International Department before January 20. No registration fee is charged.

　　All foreign friends are warmly invited to join us. Your participation is our success.
