　　最近很多备战考研的同学在练习的过程中，只关注文章中的词和句，忽略了句间以及段间的逻辑关系。但是基础阶段的阅读训练，考生需要加强宏观篇章理解，清楚文章中段与段之间，句与句之间的逻辑衔接，从而更全面地理解文章内容，保证做题的正确率。

　　万学海文英语教研室为大家总结了考研英语文章中常涉及到的逻辑关系有：转折关系、因果关系、例证关系、对比关系等。很多题目设置的终极目标就是在考查考生是否理清文章中句间和段间的逻辑关系。

　　我们通过真题实例一起学习：

　　例1：How things have changed！ In 1995 the United States can look back on five years of solid growth while Japan has been struggling。 Few Americans attribute this solely to such obvious causes as a devalued dollar or the turning of the business cycle。 （2000， Text 1）

　　The author seems to believe the revival of the U.S。 economy in the 1990s can be attributed to the ________。

　　[A] turning of the business cycle

　　[B] restructuring of industry

　　[C] improved business management

　　[D] success in education

　　我们先看一道题（选自2000，Text 1），题目问 “作者似乎认为90年代美国经济复苏归因于_____”。表面上看这道题考查文章细节信息，但认真分析题干后，发现其中的“be attributed to”（归因于）表明，考查文章中句间的因果关系。因此，想要做对本题，必须理清90年代美国经济复苏的根本原因。

　　回归原文定位到“Few Americans attribute this solely to such obvious causes as a devalued dollar or the turning of the business cycle。”此句中的“attribute…to…”（归因于）以及“causes”（原因）都在表明句间的因果关系。因此，读懂该句，自然也就能够选出正确答案了。原文中提到的“a devalued dollar”（美元贬值）和“the turning of the business cycle”（经济的周期循环）都是90年代美国经济复苏的原因。比对所给四个选项，一眼看出，[A]项turning of the business cycle就是正确答案。

　　我们再看一道题（选自2001，Text 3），题目问“正如作者所指，记者的基本问题在于______。”表面上，这道题考查文章的具体信息，但当我们回归原文，寻找该题答案时，会发现，实际上，这道题考查文章中句间的转折关系。

　　原文中有一个特别明显的逻辑关系词“not…but…”（不是……而是……）。我们都知道，一旦句中出现“but”，那么该处就是转折部分，而是转折之后才是重点。所以原文想强调的是“新闻媒体让人不信任，其根源并非是报道失实或低下的报道技巧，而是记者与读者的世界观每天都发生碰撞。”也就是说，记者的基本问题在于世界观。分析所给选项，[C]项world outlook（世界观）是正确答案。
