Aesop Fable- The Lion and the Mouse 伊索寓言-狮子和老鼠的故事
One day, a lion was taking a nap in the forest。 A little mouse accidently ran over his face and woke him up。 Rising up angrily, the lion caught the mouse and was about to eat him。 The mouse said, “Sir, please let me go, and I will repay your kindness one day。”
The lion laughed, thinking, “what can a little mouse do for me,” but he let the Mouse go。
Two weeks later, the Lion was caught by a hunter。 He was bound by strong ropes to the ground。 He roared with anger。 The little mouse, hearing his roar, ran to him。 The mouse had sharp teeth, so he chewed through the rope with his teeth and set him free。
The lion was very grateful to the little mouse。 From that day onwards, they became best friends。
