　　不仅汉语中有叠词，

　　比如安安静静，

　　冷冷清清，

　　你知道吗？

　　英文中也有朗朗上口的叠词，

　　今天就学几个常用又好记的吧！

　　1.no-no

　　=禁忌

　　something that is thought to be unsuitable or unacceptable

　　Asking a lady her age is a no-no in any situation。

　　在任何情况下，问女生年龄都是一件禁忌的事。

　　2.chop-chop

　　= 快点，赶快 （感叹词）

　　used to tell someone to hurry 

　　Chop-chop！ We are going to be late！

　　快点！我们要迟到啦！

　　3.fifty-fifty

　　= 对半分，一半一半

　　We‘ll share it on a fifty-fifty basis。

　　我们来对半分

　　4.hush-hush

　　=嘘声，秘密的

　　kept secret from people

　　I lost my wedding ring but keep it hush-hush I‘m going to buy another one。

　　我把结婚戒指弄丢了，但是先保密，我赶紧再去买

　　5.win-win

　　= 双赢

　　a win-win situation or result is one that is good for everyone who is involved

　　The agreement is a win-win for everyone。

　　这项协议对大家来说是双赢
