　　Loughborough University’s origins date back to 1909 and University status was granted in 1966. There are now over 12,000 full-time students who enjoy Loughborough’s well-earned reputation for teaching quality. The most recent league table (August 2002) placed Loughborough 5th for teaching quality. Affordable university accommodation, on a safe single-site campus, is guaranteed for two years.

　　The University offers a complete range of undergraduate, Masters and research degrees in a comprehensive range of subjects. These include Engineering, Science, Art/Design, Computing, Social Sciences, Humanities, Sport and Leisure, Business, Economics and Finance. Many sandwich degrees also offer the opportunity to gain valuable work experience.
