　　The University of Hertfordshire is a large state University situated 25 miles to the north of Central London. The fast train service takes 30 minutes from London to the campus at Hatfield.

　　The University has a total of about 25,000 students, of which 2500 come from outside the UK. International students come from over 80 countries, including China.

　　The University has to campuses. The Hatfield Campus has just been extended with the addition of the De Havilland site. This exciting development is the largest investment project in UK universities, and will accommodate the Faculty of Humanities and Education and the Business School. Other Faculties on the Hatfield Campus are: Engineering and Computing, Art and Design, Natural Sciences, and Health and Human Sciences.

　　The University has some of the most impressive facilities in the UK, including the splendid and famous Learning Resources Centre.

　　The University offers many courses, including Foundation and English Language programmes.
