TMIS PROFILE

The Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS) was officially launched on 16 November 2000. It was previously the Centre for Tourism-related Studies (CTRS) established in 1987.TMIS is now a 100% owned subsidiary of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS). TMIS has, since its inception, trained more than 22,000 students. With a core of more than 60 full-time and part-time associate trainers, TMIS also caters for training in regional countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines.TMIS has a spectrum of courses that varies from one-day short courses to those at Certificate, Diploma and University Degree level. The courses ranged from skill-based to those that are academic in nature. TMIS has gained a reputation that speaks for itself and we will continue to maintain the high level of training standard.As part of our corporate move, TMIS is gearing itself to become a regional training institute with national certification for all its courses.
