新浪网教育频道(微博)在2008年成功推出了首届中国教育盛典，教育盛典不仅展示了中国教育的发展轨迹，更以独特的视角记录了网络对教育行业的影响力；2009年重装上阵的第二届中国教育盛典由于其评审阵容强大、奖项别出心裁、调查报告具有权威性而获得圆满成功；2010年的中国教育盛典更是以“微博盘点”的全新形式，综合回顾了这一年来中国教育行业的重要事件。“2011中国教育盛典”大型活动再次盛大开启。本届活动的主题为“教育，因你而改变”。活动将通过媒体提名、网友投票、微博互动及专家评审等环节，推选出年度重要教育事件、重要人物、最具品牌影响力的教育集团等重要奖项，旨在不断推动教育事业的发展和壮大。以下为此次活动的提名机构简介：

对外经济贸易大学国际商学院MBA项目荣膺2011最具品牌影响力MBA院校

　　University ofInternational Business & Economics (UIBE)

　　Introduction

　　The University ofInternational Business and Economics (UIBE)， located in the Northeastern part of China’s capital city -Beijing，was founded in 1951. UIBE is one of the “Project 211” keyuniversities, and a multi-disciplinary university specialized in the fields ofeconomics, management, liberal arts and law, and competitive in the subjectssuch as international trade, law (international law)， finance, business management and foreign languages (businesslanguages).UIBE has became a governmental program aimed at turning about 100Chinese universities into exceptionally high quality academic institutions inthe new century and is directly subordinated to the Ministry of Education ofChina. UIBE consists of 16 academic schools, Graduate Department and Departmentof Physical Education. At present, UIBE has 2 Post-Doctor Work Stations, 1Doctorial Degree Grant Station in first-level discipline, 15 Doctorial DegreeGrant Stations in second-level disciplines, 39 Master Degree Grant Stations, 34undergraduate majors. UIBE has a total enrollment of near 13,000 full-timeschooling students including more than 2,800 international students from over120 countries。

　　Main Majors andPrograms for International Students

　　UIBE can offer over 50majors in Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degree programs for all internationalstudents, including International Trade, Finance, Business Management, Law,Language, E-business, Business English, etc., Among those majors, 5 bachelor programsand 7 master programs including Applied Economics (AE)， Finance (IF)， InternationalBusiness (IB)， International MBA(IMBA)， Law (ILLM)， and Actuarial Science and Risk Management (ASRM) can totallyoffered in English. School of International Education (SIE) of UIBE isspecially engaged in recruiting international students for UIBE’s degree andnon-degree study programs, and provides relative services. After the foreignstudents become one of members of the school, SIE takes the responsibility of theschool register management, the visa services, the educational administrationand the daily life consultation. Except the degree programs, SIE also offerslanguage training programs, including the Chinese Language and Business Chineseat different levels, and Advance Studies on Chinese Economy and Culture(offered in Chinese and foreign languages)。

　　InternationalUndergraduate Programs (IUPs) in English

　　Two-year generaleducation experience and two-year professional studies, the IUPs are designedto provide students with an opportunity to study general education courses andexplore an academic field in depth. The IUPs currently offer five major fields:Economics, International Trade, Finance, Business Administration, andMarketing. More majors will be offered as enrollment expands such as Accountingand East Asian Studies (jointly offered with Nagoya University and SoongsilUniversity)

　　International GraduatePrograms in Applied Economics, International Business, InternationalDevelopment, and International Finance, International Law, and ActuarialScience and Risk Management are offered entirely in English。

　　The objective of thetheses programs are to prepare students for positions in non-governmental andbusiness sectors by providing them with an up-to-date theoretical background,analytical techniques and flexible, practical skills in a variety of fields。

　　IMBA Program

　　To meet the urgentneeds, UIBE became the first university in China to offer International MBAprograms in January, 2006. With all courses taught in English, the IMBA programis designed for international management elites who direct their future careerin Asian and Chinese context。

　　Various TrainingPrograms

　　Intensive Chinese

　　The School ofInternational Education of UIBE takes the lead in China to launch the Chineselanguage training program. Intensive Chinese is elaborately designed for thestudents who hope to improve their Chinese proficiency in a short period oftime. This program combines group class teaching with individual teaching,giving classroom instruction with extracurricular activities (debating,internship, speech contest, travelling, etc。)。

　　This program isdivided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels aimed at improvingstudents’ spoken and listeningproficiency in the fields of business Chinese, business writing and newspaperreading.
