continue意为“（使）继续，（使）连续”，既可作及物动词，也可作不及物动词。
1。作及物动词。如：
Let‘s continue our meeting。咱们继续开会吧。
2。作不及物动词。如：
Ten minutes later， the class continued。
10分钟后，又上课了。
3.continue to do sth。与continue doing sth。，均可表示“继续做某事”。如：
