51Talk金牌教师Selphie：培养优秀教师 打造实力教育品牌

　　由新浪教育主办的“新浪2019中国教师盛典暨第九届五星金牌教师评选颁奖典礼”在北京举行。在第35个教师节来临之际，教师盛典在金牌教师颁奖礼的基础上重磅升级，汇集众多国内知名教育家、校长、优秀教师、教育实践者倾情参与。

　　作为业内独具影响力的教师年度盛事，在过去八届活动中，新浪教育面向全国教师，挖掘出近万名执着教育、勇于创新、传递真知的典范，教育专家、机构大咖在本次活动有集体发声。

　　以下为51Talk金牌教师 Selphie专访实录：

　　Selphie： 对于有志成为老师的人而言，我们有一个非常严格的招聘流程。我们会对他们进行面试看其是否有教学能力，沟通技巧是否可以。当然，通过面试后，会有为期几天的培训，学习基本技能，之后，他们会变得熟练起来，但还没完，还必须通过评价指标复杂的演示课。之后才会被正式在我们的平台上推出。推出后，我们把他们交给资历丰富的老师，这些老师会在日常教学中不断指导他们。如果我们发现某位老师遇到困难，总会有质量管理员帮助他们，确定如何改进工作，这就自然而然地确保了持续不断的终端培训。

　　Answer1： For our aspiring teachers， we have a very strict recruitment process。 We interview them to determine if they are capable and if their communication skills are 。 Of course， after their interview， they have training for several days when they learn the basic skills， and as days pass by， they become proficient， but that’s not all。 They have to pass a demo lesson with elaborate evaluators。 They那 pass that， that’s when they become officially launched in our platform。 After launching， we give them to their senior teachers who continuously guide them in their everyday teaching。 If we see that the teacher is struggling， we have our QAs who are always ready to help them and determine how can improve their areas for improvements。 This ensures continuous training for that end coaching of course。

　　主持人：好的。你对五星级教师是如何定义的？

　　Question 2： That’s ok ， how do you define the five-star teacher ？

　　Selphie：在sino， 我们有五星级教师，而在51 talk我们有五A教师。教师应具备教学专业能力；教师应有资格胜任教学、具有亲和力；教师应有幽默感，热爱教学；教师应发音清晰，清楚表达自己，这样学生也能够更好地表达自己；最后，教师应乐于助人。教师应当以学生为中心，懂得如何因材施教。教学对我们而言最重要的是学生能很容易从我们这里学到东西。就像在我的课上所做的那样，我会试着检测他们的一个大致分数情况，然后就知道如何教他们，同时我会定制我的教学辅助工具。

　　Answer2： Here in Sino， we have five-star teachers while in 51 Talk， we have five A teachers。 Teachers should be able， he or she should be professional in teaching。 A teacher should be accredited， he or she should be qualified to teach， he or she needs to be approachable。 A teacher needs to be humorous or passionate about teaching of course， and a teacher should be articulate， he or she needs to express himself clearly so that students can express themselves better too。 And lastly， a teacher should be accommodating。 A teacher should be students-centered， he should know how to adjust to the students’ level and to the students’ needs。 It’s not about how easy to be for us to teach but how easy to be for the students to learn from us。 Like what I do in my lessons， I try to check their profile scores ， so I will know how to teach them， and I personalize my teaching aids。

　　Question 3： As we know， each teacher should be responsible for improving the quality of their teaching and the education of their students。 What efforts has 51 Talk made to High quality courses ？

　　Selphie： 当然。在讨论了教师的发展后，我们不要忘记在线平台的发展——空中课堂。在这个平台上，我们的老师和学生之间会相互互动，同时又节省了资料。平台会涉及到技术以及我们最近的升级改进。现在使用口罩和数字奖励就能把表情包和学生的表情放到上面。他们有H5教材，这些都是生动形象的教材，学生能够点击答案，在上面移动。视频可以放大，而且学生和老师的视频可以拖拽到教材上面，使角色扮演更加简单好玩，这些大数据会记录学生的偏好，以及我们老师需要关注的地方。

　　Answer3： Of course。 After talking about the development of our teachers， let’s not forget about the development of our online platform-----The quality Airclass or AC。 It is where our students and the teachers interact with each other while saving the materials。 It involves with technology and our recent upgrade。 They could now put emojs and students’ faces using masks and digital rewards。 They have H5 materials。 These are animated materials where students could click their answers and move themes around the material。 The videos could be enlarged， and the students and teachers’ videos could be dragged onto the material to make it easier and more fun during role-plays。 These big data to keep track of what students prefer and what our teachers need to focus on。

　　Selphie：嗯，好的。祝所有在座的老师们教师节快乐！非常感谢我的老师，是你们成就了现在的我们。若没有老师，这个世界绝不会像现在这样；没有教过我的老师们，我也就不会成为老师；没有老师，也将不会有医生、建筑师或者其它任何职业。父母是我们的第一任老师，会对我们产生影响，发掘我们的潜能、使我们拥有梦想并最终实现梦想。非常感谢你们的帮助。

　　Answer4： Oh， yes。 Happy Teachers’ Day！ And to all teachers out there， thank you so much for more than our minds to become who we are right now。 You know， the world will never be the same without teachers。 I won’t be a teacher without my teachers before。 There won’t be doctors， architects， or any other kind of profession if there weren’t teachers。 You know， it’s just make it easier for us to know who and what we want to be and then grow up。 You know， from the very start， we were there along with our parents and molding us to unlock our potential， and to have a dream， and eventually achieve that dream。 Thank you so much for serving us。
