Go for/对某人有吸引力，使某人渴望

　　On a hot day like this one, I could really go for an ice-cold beer.

　　在这样的热天里，我真想喝杯冰啤酒。

　　Since I have been working for 10 hours today, what I could really go for is a nice shower(洗个痛快澡) and a sound sleep(睡个安稳觉).

　　上句中说到天热，我在此顺便提一下有关天气热的几个常用地道说法，不要见了老外就是--it's so hot today!

　　It's baking hot today!

　　Bake,烘烤，常见的有烤面包--baked toast/French toast，都已经象在烤面包了，可见温度之高，去年7月上海出现了历史罕见的高温天气，我一见老外就说--it's baking hot today!

　　还有几种不同但也同样地道的说法：

　　The temperature is so high that I can hardly bear(忍受) it!

　　It's just like a stove(火炉)here!

　　The sun of this summer is a dangerous thing to me and my skin!
