Nani and his daughter live in a forest. One day Nani goes into the forest to look for food. He is looking for deer. A dragon coes and captures Keka while Nani is away. When Nani comes back, the dragon captures him, too. The dragon takes Nani, Keka and the deer and locks them in his cave. Other people are in the cave, too. When he is away, the dragon has a roster watch over the cave. The rooster will crow loudly if anyone tries to escape. But Keka is very smart, and soon she finds a way to escape.

　　First, she finds some grain and scatters it on the floor of the cave. The rooster busily eats the grain. It can't crow. Next, she finds some rope and makes a ladder. Then she cooks the deer and gives it to the people to eat. Tey give here the bones, and she puts them in a large bag. Keka throws one end of the ladder into the sky. All the people in the cave climb up the ladder and onto the cloud. Suddenly the dragon comes back. Keka begins to climb the ladder. She carries the bag of bones on her back. When the dragon gets close to her, she throws down a bone and the dragon climbs down to eat it. Keka throws the ladder to the ground and the dragon falls off. Everyone is safe.

　　The people in the sky are so happy that their faces are shining. Now when you look up at the sky, you may think you see the Sun, Moon and Stars, but really they are the people who escaped from the dragon. Their faces are so bright they light up the sky.
