1月5日公布的一项调查显示，英国女性一生中平均花费约10万英磅用于添置新衣。但是，其中仅有一半的衣服她们才真正穿过。

　　据英国《镜报》1月6日报道，这项研究的发起方是丘吉尔保险公司。研究者对3023名女性进行了问卷调查后发现，英国14岁以上的女性每个月平均会花费124英镑来买鞋、衣服和各种配饰。这样算来，如果一个女人能够活到79岁，那么这一生她将把96720英镑花在了服装上。她们最常购买的是时尚的上衣，接下来是鞋子和裤子。

　　同时，女性每次凭“冲动”购物的平均消费是164英镑。这些女性中有25%的人为自己的冲动行为感到难为情，并会对家人隐瞒这些钱的去向。40%的受访女性甚至在经济状况紧张的情况下，也会去购买新的衣服。

　　心理学家克里斯汀·韦伯尔说：“女人花钱通常是为了让自己快乐，或者提升自信。”

　　调查发现，这些受访者中有近一半的人会使用信用卡消费，即使透支也要花钱。58%的人表示，要想让她们停止购物，唯一的办法就是远离那些购物场所。(任燕)

　　Women spend nearly ?100,000 on clothes during their lives, a survey revealed yesterday.

　　Yet they only ever wear half the clothes they own, the research found. Women spend about ?124 a month on shoes, clothes and accessories from the age of 14.

　　With a life expectancy of 79, that adds up to ?96,720. Churchill Insurance polled 3,023 women and discovered the average wardrobe contains about ?1,500 of clothes.

　　And many women make impulse buys of up to ?164 a time. A quarter are so ashamed of their spending they frequently lie to their partners about the cost.

　　Psychologist Christine Webber said: "Women spend in a bid to cheer themselves up or boost self-esteem."

　　The poll found 40 per cent of women even go shopping for new clothes when they are strapped for cash.

　　Nearly half have used credit cards or overdraft when skint and 58 per cent say only keeping away from the high street would stop them spending.
