Selections from two classic martial art books have been entered into the fourth volume of a Chinese senior high school textbook. The two selections are from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, by Wang Dulu, and The Semi-gods and the Semi-devils, by Hong Kong writer Louis Cha (Jin Yong). The move is warmly welcomed by students, but many parents fear their children might receive negative messages from the "contemporary literature."
