　　CIS (Chiba Institute of Science) was establised in 2004 and it is renowned as the first university in Asia to have a specialized program in Crisis Mamagement. CIS has 2 faculties and 6 departments that serve to educate and promote research in safety, security and risk management. CIS faculty members responsible for the students' practicum and lectures have extensive professional background in areas of medicine and crisis management, and the university takes prides in its state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

　　CIS is located in a scenic seaside city with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. International Office Staff can assist students in their native language (Chinese, Taiwanese, English, and Korean are available).
