2009年中国国际教育展将于10月17日在北京拉开帷幕，随后巡回武汉、上海、成都和广州5个城市，以下为意大利此次参展高校博洛尼亚大学简介：

　　The University of Bologna, founded in 1088, is the oldest academic institution of the Western World. Counting 92.000 students, more than 3.000 professors, 23 faculties and 70 departments, it is one if the most important higher education institutions in Europe. Since 1989 until now, the University of Bologna, has carried out the largest decentralization programme in the history of Italian Universities, establishing new university campus branches in 4 towns in Emilia-Romagna: Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna and Rimini. The academic offer is extremely wide. The 23 faculties offer 120 first level degree courses (bachelor)， 115 second level degree courses (master of arts/sciences)， 110 third level degree courses (PhD programmes) and 86 professional master courses. The University of Bologna has got many academic and scientific relationships with foreign partners. In particular there are14 agreements of cooperation with Chinese Universities, i.e. The University of Bologna established a double degree in Automation Engineering with the Tongji University within the frame of the Sino Italian Campus。

　　建立于1088年的博洛尼亚大学是西方最古老的大学。它拥有9万名注册在校生、5800名教师、教学设施面积共60万平方米、23个学院和70系，使其成为了意大利甚至欧洲最重要大学之一。

　　1988年9月18日， 博洛尼亚大学 900周年校庆之际，来自世界各地的430所大学校长云聚 博洛尼亚， 共同签署了欧洲大学大宪章， 并正式承认博大为所有大学的母校。

　　大学现有23个系，143个三年制本科，98个硕士和9个欧盟 合作项目各科研究生专业 ，还有20个多国际课程。国际课程以英语授课，而且与欧洲大学及世界各大学联合 举办双学位或共同承认的学位。尤其值得一提的是以加强与中国的交流为使命的中国学院。自2004年以来，注册博大的中国学生已达600名，在这4年里，中国学院已完成了各项活动：招收接待中国留学生，对学生指导，与中国各大高校的合作，与各企事业单位配合服务等等。
