2009年中国国际教育展将于10月17日在北京拉开帷幕，随后巡回武汉、上海、成都和广州5个城市，以下为日本国此次参展院校同志社大学简介：

　　Founded 1875, Doshisha University has grown into one of the most renown universities in Japan. Located in the heart of Kyoto (京都)， Doshisha University occupies three separate campuses and is home to over 26,000 students engaged in both undergraduate and graduate study. The original campus is located directly across from the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, and is renowned for its many buildings of both historic and architectural significance. Doshiha provides excellent facilites and an environment which nurtures not only studying but also the spirit of international exchange and friendship.

　　Currently Doshisha University has twelve faculties and thirteen graduate schools accepting international students as well as the Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Program "BEKKA", giving students the chance to improve their language skills and to study Japanese culture. Out of it s approximately 26,000 students about 600 are international students from many countries around the world.
