2009年中国国际教育展将于10月17日在北京拉开帷幕，随后巡回武汉、上海、成都和广州5个城市，以下为日本国此次参展院校北海道大学简介：

　　北海道大学创立于1876年， 其前身为札幌农学校， 是日本首座授予学士学位的大学。本校在教育研究方面以”开拓精神”，“培养国际性”，“全方面教育”及“重视实学”为基本理念而发展至今。本校近几年转变以研究院为重点的综合性大学， 更加提高作为学术机关的资质。

　　本校札幌校园在札幌市的中心， 离札幌火车站走路大约五分钟。尽管校园在大城市的中心， 但是校园的占地面积有176万平方米， 自然也很丰富， 环境很好。

　　Hokkaido University is an institution established in 1876 as Sapporo Agricultural College, the first higher educational institution in Japan, to award bachelor degrees. The principal beliefs of the university introduced back then were based on Pioneering Spirit cultivating an international appreciation, Liberalism, and Applied Learning. It has recently transformed itself into a Graduate Research University and further improved its academic foundations ranking with the leading universities in the world.

　　The Sapporo campus of Hokkaido University is situated in the center of Sapporo, a city with a population of 1.89 million people. The university is five minutes’ walk from Sapporo train station and blessed with a splendid environment in 450 acres of rich greenery.
