Imelda Staunton is a well-known British actress born in London.

She’s had a long career in the theatre, radio, TV and film, playing a variety of different acting roles.

In 2004 she won a number of awards for playing the leading role in the film Vera Drake, including a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) for best actress.

And more recently her film roles have included the role of Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter films.
