你问我答

You're Welcome "不客气"的多种表达

When people say, "Thanks for organising everything", "Thanks for your help, you've done a wonderful job", how should I respond except "You're very welcome"? I would like to sincerely say welcome but I don't know what else I should say. Thanks.

Just as there are different ways of saying "Thank you", there are various expressions that you can use in response to that.

For a lot of learners of English the most familiar phrase is "You're welcome". That is correct, you can use it for any occasion but it sounds a bit dry if you keep using the same expression.

Today Li and Rob present you with some examples of other responses using fun role plays with BBC Learning English presenters.

So why not take away a few expressions to impress your friends?
