Grudging his teeth Zhou continued to practise this set of difficult martial arts.
Of course he struggled more and made more mistakes.
To Zhou’s surprise, in the third day of instruction, Master taught him the unique Left-Right Interfighting
which had made Zhou Botong famous.
The power of kungfu doubled while the difficulty tripled. Zhou Benchi felt he could hardly bear it.
Each time Zhou had to learn a more difficult set of martial arts. No matter how hard he tried,
he felt he couldn’t keep up with Master’s requirements.
He didn’t feel any easier after each hard practise. Zhou was more and more depressed, disappointed and saddened.
(It is totally contrary to what my English teacher Zhou Botong said in his doctoral thesis.)
