　　J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye" is a famous American novel. It tells the story of a 17-year-old boy named Holden Caulfield. At the start of the story, Holden is kicked out of school. He leaves his school and spends three days alone in New York City.

　　The story seems simple but, in fact, is not. Holden struggles with the problems of growing up. He has trouble dealing with the world around him. The reader follows him and meets the people in his world.

　　J.D.塞林格的《麦田里的守望者》是一部著名的美国小说。它讲述了一位17岁少年霍尔顿·考尔菲尔德的故事。故事一开始，霍尔顿被勒令退学。他离开学校后独自在纽约呆了三天。

　　故事看起来似乎很简单，其实不然。霍尔顿努力地去解决成长中所面临的问题。面对周围的世界他不知所措。读者跟随霍尔顿去结识他世界中的人物。
