　　If you are going to Europe, you might consider taking some time to visit Provence. Whether you are interested in beautiful places, ancient history, good food and wine, or music and theater, Provence has something to offer even the pickiest traveler.

　　Provence is in the south of France. It is picture-perfect3 with its green hills, olive trees, and old towns with pretty houses. Here, visitors can find forests, colorful flowers, horses, and warm people with ready smiles.

　　For those who like history, there are lots of Roman ruins to see. The Pont du Gard is a huge aqueduct half a mile long that was built nearly two thousand years ago. Some of its stones weigh almost one thousand kilograms, and it was constructedwithout cement.
