In the 3 years of the creation, the total of Nanjing's infrastructural investment has reached on more than 60 billion yuan, the rate of the environment construction's investment occupied on the GDP will increase from 2.06% in 2001 to 2.6% estimated in 2003 and exceed the requirement of the creation target greatly by 1.5%. The total investment in the 3 years is about 10 billion yuan.

　　Nanjing, is the first subsidiary provincial city that is trying for the creation of the model city after the execution of the national environment protection model city new system.
