　　1. -Where is the bike?自行车在哪儿？

　　-It's behind the house.在屋子的后面。

　　2. -Where is the blackboard?黑板在哪儿？

　　3. -Could you tell me where the office building is?你能告诉我办公楼在什么地方吗？

　　II.Cultural Information

　　In Unit 18, we talk a lot about China and New Zealand. Here, let's learn something about the USA, a country on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.

　　The United States, larger than Mexico, but smaller than Canada, covers a large part of North America. Its neighbors are Canada to the north and Mexico to the south.

　　The United States is almost 3,000 miles across from east to west, and 1,400 miles from north to south.

　　Washington is the capital, which is only the eighth largest city in the country. Cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Philadelphia have an even larger population.
