Dear friends, 你们知道为什么英国人见面喜欢谈天气吗?原因有二:一是英国人性格内向,不爱讲个人私事,于是只好"谈天";二是英国的天气变化无常,气候之恶劣乃世界闻名。我们要学会下面的常用语,就不怕和英国人"谈天"了。

　　I. 集训馆

　　1. What's the weather like today? (= How is the weather today?) 今天天气怎么样?

　　2. It's sunny/ rainy/ windy/ snowy/ cloudy today. 今天晴天/下雨/有风/下雪/多云.

　　3. It's very warm / hot /cool / cold. 天很暖和 / 炎热 / 凉爽 / 寒冷.

　　4. There is a lot of sunshine. 阳光充足.

　　II. 加料区

　　1. Cold weather, isn't it? 今天天冷,不是吗?

　　2. It's boiling today. 今天天气热得要命.

　　3. How is the summer here? 这儿的夏天怎么样?

　　4. Is it always as hot as this? 天气总是这么热吗?

　　5. We had a snow yesterday. 昨天下了一场雪.

　　III. 聊天室

　　A: Good morning, Mr. White.

　　B: Good morning, Pingping. It's a fine day, isn't it?

　　A: Yes, it is. But it is a little hot.

　　B: Don't you like hot weather?

　　A: Yes, I do. You know, I like swimming very much.

　　B: Where do you usually swim?

　　A: I usually swim in the lake over there. The water in the lake is clean. Mr. White, would you like to go swimming this morning?

　　B: Good idea. I like swimming, too.

　　A: There are some boats and we can boat (划船) there.

　　B: Great! We English like boating very much.
