　　Most colleges and universities in United States, Canada, and in other countries where the language of instruction is English require the TOEFL test created by Educational Testing Service (ETS). If you are planning to continue your education in North America or in some of the other English-speaking countries, you can show your proficiency in English by taking TOEFL.

　　The TOEFL test is administered in pencil-and-paper format. The test measures listening comprehension, structure and written expression, reading, and writing.

　　ETS TOPE is also produced by Educational Testing Service. ETS TOPE has been specifically designed for those individuals who will need to use English in their employment in China. In partnership with Beijing Topeak International Education Investment Co. Ltd., ETS Test of Professional English was administered for the first time in early 2003. The test measures listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. If you need an assessment of your English skills to use in business and in other occupations in China, consider ETS TOPE.
