Survivors, victims' family members, and political figures gathered in Oklahoma City on Tuesday marking the 10th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

　　The April 19, 1995, attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building has been the worst act of domestic terrorism in US history, in which 168 people were killed and more than 800 others were injured.

　　About 1,600 people inside the First United Methodist Church in the city fell silent at 9:02 a.m., the moment the building was destroyed 10 years ago.

　　Former President Bill Clinton also delivered a speech at the ceremony. "The memories are still so clear" 10 years after the bombing, he said.

　　In the 1995 attack, a truck bomb planted by Timothy McVeigh sheared off the north side of the Murrah building, killing 168 people, injuring hundreds of others and causing millions of dollars in damage to downtown Oklahoma City.

　　McVeigh was convicted on federal conspiracy and multiple first-degree murder charges and sentenced to death in 1997. He was executed in June 2001.
