　　三、比赛演讲稿

　　Worry about the Forest

　　My name is Wang Zhengyang from Chendou Liangshuijing Street Primary School. Today, I’ll express my worry about the forest.

　　A forest is a large piece of land with a lot of trees. There are many, many tress and flowers in the forest. Many beautiful animals and insects live in there. There are thousands of birds too. A forest is a noisy place!

　　Forests are serving man everywhere. Trees are most useful in preventing good and rich soil from being washed away during heavy rains. A long time ago, man in the past had no enough knowledge about science of nature. They cut down too many trees and never planted any new trees. By and by, the rich land changed into useless deserts where nothing could grow.

　　But now some people still cut down the trees to made something or sell the wood to make money. Many birds, animals and insects die. Because they have no where to live and they haven’t enough food to eat. When there are no more trees in a forest and the animals eat the grass and small plants, the forest will become a desert!

　　Here I want to tell every one: Our forests are in danger. The animals are in danger! The environments of human being are in danger! So let’s protect the trees! Let’s protect the forest! Let’s protect our earth!

　　森林之忧

　　我是成都市凉水井街小学的王正阳，今天，我想谈谈自己对森林的担忧。

　　森林是树木覆盖的绿洲，许多花草树木在森林里生长，各种漂亮的动物、昆虫也在那里栖息，当然那里也是成千上万的鸟儿门的家园，森林可是一个热闹非凡的世界呢！

　　森林无处不在为人类服务。在暴雨季节，森林中的树木为保护土壤不被冲刷流失立下了汗马功劳。很久以前，人们没有足够的关于自然的科学知识，他们只知道砍树而不知道种树，长此以往，富饶的土地就变成了一毛不生的沙漠。

　　但是今天，有人为了金钱或其它的利益还在继续毁坏森林，大量的鸟类、动物和昆虫因为没有栖身之处和没有足够的食物而死亡。当森林里再也没有了树木，当动物门吃光了所有的草和植物，森林就将变成沙漠！

　　这里，我想告诉每一个人：森林和动物门正处在危险之中！我们人类的环境正处在危险之中！让我们保护树木！保护森林！保护我们赖以生存的地球！
