希望之星大赛大学组3号选手程悦：赛后感想

　　四、赛后感想：

　　Eventually, the competition has come to an end. Just a few das ago, due to the SARS, I hope the time would go faster, but now when it really finished I feel a little blue. Looking back the several days’ competition, I feel it’s just like a dream. From the beginning, when I was informed to be chosen as a contestant and then go to Beijing to stand on the stage of CCTV, till go back to class after five days’ isolation. During the dream, I learnt a lot, both on my English study and also other aspects. It helps me to find some of my hidden personality. Before that I was a shy boy and this is my first time to stand on a stage and in front of TV camera and so many audience by myself. Can I perform well? I asked myself, so I was a bit nervous beforehand, but I kept convincing myself that I would succeed. Therefore, when I stepped on the stage, I lost my nervousness. I presented myself to the audience fully and truly. It’s great! Now I am much confident than before. All the other constants are excellent and I find my flows and their advantages, I have to make more effort to improve myself. The little brothers and sisters from the children’s group give me a deep impression. They are innocent, lovely and lively and bring a lot of fun to the competition. It seems that I come back to my childhood again. We’ve built friendship with each other. The contest was well organized and the sponsor was responsible for our safety so all of us came back healthily. It is really a good opportunity to show your English talent, and each of us is the “Star of Outlook”. I will cherish the special dream forever and I wish next year I would come to the dream again! Last I want to give my acknowledgement to my teachers, my friends, my parents and the committee of the competition for their help and support.
