　　A journey to 2008

　　From the moment when the word “Beijing” was solemnly announced to the world, a journey to an Olympics with the integration of ancient Chinese culture and modern Olympics philosophy begins. As for me, l long for participating in this grand journey. The volunteer, as a key carrier of the Olympic spirit, is what I want to be. A strong sense of social responsibility and outstanding moral character are what a qualified volunteer should possess. These qualifications are not only a volunteer should have but also a qualified college student should have. It is the time we embark upon this historic journey which is a journey of the realization of personal value, most importantly, also a journey towards an Olympics featuring the unique oriental wisdom.

　　当“北京”被庄严地向全世界人民宣布时，一个通往奥林匹克的旅程开始了，一个通往融合了古老的中国文化和当代奥林匹克思想的旅程开始了。对于我来说，参与这个伟大的旅程是我的梦想。而奥林匹克志愿者，正是我参与的唯一途径。他也是奥林匹克精神的最重要的载体之一。要做一个合格的志愿者，极强的社会责任感和高尚的道德品质是不可缺少的。这些品质不单是一个奥林匹克志愿者所要具备的，同时也是一个当代合格大学生不可或缺的。现在正是我们开始这一伟大旅程的最好时机！因为它不仅通往自我价值的实现，同时也通往一个蕴涵东方智慧的奥林匹克！
