　　The 2008 Olympics and Me

　　We all love the joy that is sports. Handed down through generations of misery ad prosperity, the Olympic torch still resembles today an undying dream of mankind, that is, to ever-challenge one’s yesterday and builds all’s tomorrow in a peaceful tension. As a proud Chinese, I saw the image of a greener and stronger china flashing before the moment Beijing was announced to stage the 200i8 Olympic Games. As a citizen, I felt that the responsibility of becoming an excellent host is both obliging and amazing. As a teenager embracing an internal vision, I have been enriching myself so as to welcome the world one day with the most refined manner ad well-equipped mid. Here, stands a minimized version of china emitting youth and vitality. As the year of the Olympic dream approaches, Beijing’s ready. I am ready.

　　运动对于我们来说，都是永恒的快乐之源。被代代之手穿越战乱和繁荣的年代传递而来，奥运火炬在今天依然是人类一个不死之梦的象征：超越个人的昨天，在和平的聚首中创造共同的明天。作为一个骄傲的中国人，当北京成功申办2008年奥运会的消息传来，一个环境更优美、社会更进步的中国在我的眼前闪现。作为一个公民，主办奥运会的责任对我来说既是挑战又是愉悦。作为一个有着国际视野的高中生，我日复一日地充实自我，为的就是有一天以最优雅的姿态，最敏锐的头脑来接待全世界的来宾。我，作为当代中国的一个小小缩影站在这里，散发着青春和活力。当2008奥运梦之年悄悄临近，北京严阵以待。我，时刻准备着。
