　　第一句： That’s more like it 这还差不多

　　英解：that’s better than before , an improvement

　　说话者用这句话来表示，和先前的情况相较，对方的表现或态度现在总算比较可以让人接受，就如同我们中文所讲的“这还差不多”。

　　sample usage(例句)：

　　A：All right, I’ll clean up the kitchen and wash thedishes。

　　B：That’s more like it。

　　A：好吧，我会打扫厨房并且清洗盘子。

　　B：这还差不多。

　　第二句：stick around 待着

　　英解：stay at location , not leave

　　“stick”原可当粘住或固定住的意思。但是在这句片语中，“stick”可以解释为“停留”，“stickaround”这整句片语中就是指在某个地方停留徘徊的意思。

　　A：Are you looking for Susan? She’ll be here in half anhour。

　　B：Do you mind if I stick around and wait for her?

　　A：你在找苏珊吗？她半个小时后会到。

　　B：你介意我待在这里等她吗？

　　第三句：have something in mind 有些主意

　　英解：have a rough idea or plan

　　有时候我们对一件事情虽然还没有很明确的决定，但是可能心中已经有了一些粗略的想法或概念，“have something inmind”指的就是这个意思。

　　sample usage(例句)：

　　A：What are you going to do this summer?

　　B：I’m not sure yet, but I have something in mind。

　　A：今年夏天你要做什么？

　　B：我还不确定，但我已经有些主意了。
