　　Just how cold is it in Kentucky? Apparently cold enough for an escaped prisoner to decide to turn himself in。

　　Authorities say the inmate escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington on Sunday. As temperatures dropped into the low single digits Monday, officials say the man walked into a motel and asked the clerk to call police。

　　据美国肯塔基州官方报道称，囚犯罗伯特 维克周日从安保不严的列克星顿监狱越狱。但第二天气温骤降低个位数(约-10 C)，警方称，维克被迫走进一家汽车旅店，让伙计报警。

　　Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says 42-year-old Robert Vick of Hartford told the clerk he wanted to turn himself in and escape the arctic air。
