Megan Canning is an artist and senior nonprofit manager who is passionate about the power of art and design to create positive change in our cities, our communities, and our lives.
Since 2005 she has worked for the Design Trust for Public Space, a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization that works with city agencies, community groups and private-sector experts on research, design and planning projects to transform public space in New York City. As Deputy Director, Megan provides dynamic and creative leadership for the organization and its diverse public space projects like Designing the Taxi, Five Borough Farm and Made in Midtown。
