How to Apply
All prospective parents should complete the Application Form , which constitutes the basis of their application to Wellington。 Required documentation for application are as follows:
Completed and signed application form (all 10 pages) RMB 3,000 non-refundable application fee (payable in cash or by bank transfer, bank details below) Official School Reports for the past two years in English (translated if required) Supporting documents for any special learning needs (if applicable) Birth certificate of the child Passport copy of the child and each parent Identification Documents Children of Foreign Citizen(s) Shanghai residence visa for the child and each parent Working parent’s Shanghai work permit (‘Foreign Experts Certificate’ or ‘Alien Employment Permit’) Children of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau Residents Mainland Travel Permit and Permanent ID card for HK/Macau residents, or Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan residents Proof of residence in Shanghai (i.e。 a rental agreement or certificate of real estate ownership) Working parent’s Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau Work Permit booklet Working parent’s certificate of employment in Shanghai and employer’s business license* Overseas-born Children of PRC Citizens Visa/Residence Permit, or Mainland travel pass & Permanent ID card for the overseas born child Proof of residence in Shanghai (i.e。 a rental agreement or certificate of real estate ownership) Working parent’s certificate of employment in Shanghai and employer’s business license*
*The certificate of employment must be printed on company letterhead, signed by the head of the department, stamped with company chop, and include the following information: employee’s name, date of birth, position, period of employment, registered company name, address, and telephone。

The Admissions Office will send an e-mail confirmation to the parents upon reception of the initial application materials。 If you do not receive an e-mail, please contact the Admissions Office to ensure your materials have been received。
Upon receipt of all the above, the Admissions Office will arrange for the relevant testing and an interview, if this is deemed necessary。 The intention is that the offer of a place will be made within a week of the assessment。
For parents who wish to accept the place at Wellington College, the following must be provided:
Signed acceptance of the College‘s Standard Terms and Conditions and Parent Contract A Placement Deposit of 18,000RMB
