考研英语常考应用文写作指导：投诉信
一. 投诉信的结构
(1)开头：自我介绍，交代投诉内容，表明本信的目的和要求。
(2)正文：说明情况，讲清利害，分析利弊。告诉对方你因此受到的伤害或不便，提出解决问题的建议，表明希望如何处理。
(3)结尾：表达希望问题得到迅速恰当解决的强烈愿望，希望尽快得到满意的答复。
二. 投诉信经典句型归纳
(1)It is a great pity that we find there is something wrong with… 令人非常遗憾的是我们发现……有问题。
(2)Would you please let me know whether or not you can…as soon as possible? 你们是否可以告知我能不能尽快……
(3)I hope that my problem will get your kind consideration。我希望您能考虑一下我的问题。
(4)I am sure there are technical or manmade errors involved。我确信出现了技术或人为的错误。
(5)l hope you can make an investigation into this matter as soon as possible。我希望你们能尽快调查此事。
(6)I hope I can get my refund as soon as possible。我希望能尽快收到退款。
(7)I am writing to make a complaint about… 我写信是为了投诉……
(8)If it is not properly settled，I would ask you to give my money back, or I would complain to the concerned authorities. 如果此事不能妥善解决，我将要求退还支付款项，或者向有关部门投诉。
(9)One annoying aspect of your service is… 你们的服务项目中一个令人不满的地方是……
(10)I have been pleased with your services for years，but now I feel very disappointed. 多年来我一直很满意你们的服务，但现在我非常失望。
(11)I would like to draw your attention to the problem／fault… 我想让您知道这个问题／错误……
(12)I am writing to inform you that I find…unsatisfactory. 我写信是为了告诉你，我发现……令人非常不满意。
(13)I wish to express my dissatisfaction／disappointment about… 我想表达我对……的不满／失望。
(14)It would be highly appreciated if you could… 如果你能……我将万分感谢。

三。投诉信参考范文：
Directions:
You live in a room in college which you share with another student. You find it very difficult to work there because your roommate always has friends visiting. He/She has parties in the room and sometimes borrows your things without asking you。
Write a letter to the Accommodation Officer at the college and:
1) ask for a new room next term,
2) you would prefer a single room,
3) explain your reasons。
Don’t sign your own name at the end of your letter, using“Li Ming”instead。
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express/air dissatisfaction/disappointment/concern regarding accommodation. I would prefer to move into a single room next semester, as I find the present sharing arrangement inconvenient。
I must explain that the reason for my dissatisfaction is my roommate’s inconsiderate behavior. For one thing, his friends are constantly visiting him; for another, he regularly holds noisy parties。
To solve this difficulty/surmount this difficulty/improve this situation/crack this hard nut, I hope to draw the attention of the authorities concerned. I am sure you will agree that the only solution for me is to move into a room of my own. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could find a single room for me, preferably not in the same building but as near to the college campus as possible。
