第二部分：小作文

　　虽然2009年英语考试大纲小作文部分有反往常地列举了摘要，但是，2010年考信件的可能性依然非常之大，考生还是要重点复习信件的写作，辅助摘要汉译英翻译的能力提高。以下是重点信件写作方式，希望对广大考生的备考复习起到最后冲刺的作用。

　　1.邀请信

　　1) 表明写作目的

　　2) 邀请的原因

　　邀请的细节：时间，地点，日期，活动性质，程序，有关要求

　　3) 再次盛情邀请，希望尽快答复

　　Dear Mr. Smith,

　　I am writing this letter on behalf of _____________ to invite you to participate in ___________。

　　As you are the most authoritative professor in China, we would be very honored if you could show up on the occasion. The speech / party / occasion will start at 时间 and finish at___时间__ on ___日期_ and will be held in __地点__. Besides, _附加条件____。

　　If you do not have prior appointment on _日期__, we look forward to seeing you in ___地点___。

　　2.投诉信

　　1) 自我介绍，不要罗唆，表明写作目的。

　　2) 投诉的原因，提出改进措施。

　　3) 希望问题快速解决，表示感谢，希望尽快答复。

　　I am a student of _________ department of __________ University. I feel bad to trouble you but I am afraid that I have to make a complaint about _________。

　　I must explain the reasons for my dissatisfaction. First and foremost,_抱怨的第一个方面_. Furthermore,__抱怨的第二个方面_.I appreciate it very much if you could _解决办法 , and I would like to have this matter settled by ___设定最后期限___。
