深度解析2019考研英语一真题阅读Text1长难句

　　2019考研英语已落下帷幕，今年英语一考题的传统阅读部分在选项设计方面难度略增。第一篇阅读选自2015年6月24日The Christian Science Monitor《基督教科学箴言报》的评论。下面笔者就阅读第一篇长难句进行深度解析。

　　1。首先，开篇第一段第一句运用了基本五大基本句型之一主谓宾结构，点名主题：Financial regulators in Britain have imposed a rather unusual rule on the bosses of big banks。 （英国的金融监管机构对大银行的管理层强加了一条非同寻常的规则。）

　　此句主语为Financial regulators，后置定语in Britain修饰前面的主语，谓语动词have imposed，宾语a rather unusual rule，后置定语 on the bosses of big banks修饰前面的宾语，这里需要注意一个固定搭配impose A on B，把A强加于B。

　　2。 另外紧接着第一段第三句是关于and的并列句，同时也是该篇文章第21题的解题关键：The main purpose of this “clawback” rule is to hold bankers accountable for harmful risk-taking and to restore public trust in financial institutions。 （这个规则的主要目的是让银行家为不良风险负责以及修复公众对金融机构的信任。）

　　此句的主语为The main purpose of this “clawback” rule，谓语动词为 is，两者相结合与21题的题干one motive in imposing the new rule is to （ 强调这一新规则的目的是）则是同义替换，后面and的并列结构to hold bankers accountable for harmful risk-taking 与 to restore public trust in financial institutions则是正确选项A。 enhance bank’s sense of responsibility。 （增强银行的责任感） 的合成代换。对于海文考研的19届钻石卡学员来说，合成代换这一方法并不陌生，因为在暑期强化封闭特训营的阅读课上详细讲过。

　　3。 第三段第二句是一个明显的主谓分割结构，who引导的非限定性定语从句作为分割成分，同时也是23题的解题关键：Transient investors， who demand high quarterly profits from companies， can hinder a firm’s efforts to invest in long-term research or to build up customer loyalty。 （短期投资者要求公司提供高额的季度利润，这可能会不利于公司投资长期研究或者建立客户忠诚度。）

　　此句主干部分为Transient investors can hinder …customer loyalty，主语为Transient investors，谓语动词为can hinder，宾语为a firm’s efforts，而宾语后面又有or连接的并列结构to…作为后置定语修饰a firm’s efforts。从句部分则为who引导的非限定性定语从句， 解释说明前面的Transient investors，而Transient investors与23题的题干符合，谓语动词can hinder表明Transient investors带来的影响是坏的，是不利的，故与正确选项B。 adverse（不利的）符合。

　　4。 最后一段第一句Within companies， the right compensation design can provide incentives for executives to think beyond their own time at the company and on behalf of all stakeholders。（在公司内部，合理的薪酬设计可以激励公司高层不只为自己着想也为所有股东着想。）

　　此句结构虽属于基本的主谓宾结构，但修饰成分比较多。主语为the right compensation design，谓语动词为can provide，宾语为incentives，状语为for executives，目的状语to think beyond… stakeholders，而目的状语里面又有and的并列结构beyond their own time at the company 和 on behalf of all stakeholders。
