　　An Institute of Technology in Ireland is a state-funded provider of university-level vocational education. WIT is one of the largest Institutesshavings6000 full time and 4,500 part-time students. Courses are provided in Science, Engineering, Social and Health Care, the Arts and Business. Students can study up to Doctorate level at WIT. There is also a separate English Language centre in WIT which supports International students.

　　All International students live in new apartments near the campus. Waterford city is situated 2 hours by train South East of Dublin. It is near the coast and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and valleys.

　　WIT recruited its first 35 International students in 2001 from China and Korea. Thesgroupsis growing rapidly as these students tell their friends about this excellent college. All International students are assured of a warm welcome at Waterford.
