Institution Description

The Alliance Française of Shanghai is a teaching institution of French. The specificity of the school is to teach French in French, without referring to other languages. All the teachers use specific technics far from all passive listening.

A large scale of courses are provided : general courses from beginner 1 to advanced 2 and also specific courses such as intensive preparation to the TEF, audio-visual / multimedia (TV5), business French, contemporary French literature.

The Alliance Française of Shanghai also provides a large number of activities, cultural events, learnig French through French songs and theater, musical performances, etc.

Every year, the number of students of our institution is increasing (1500 in 1999 and 3500 in 2003) due to the general interest from the young Chinese public for French and to the policy of quality implementing by the Alliance Française of Shanghai.
