　　W：I just read in the newspaper that Lord of the Rings is this year’s greatest hit. Why don’t we go and see it at the grand cinema.

　　M：Don’t you think that cinema is a little out of the way?

　　四级听力第8题：

　　除以上三题外，本次四级听力考试的其他短对话或多或少的都体现出托福听力的影子，丢东西捡东西场景、电脑场景、度假场景以及选校场景都是托福听力的常考场景，其中的一些场景词汇和习惯用语也不断被四级听力所引用。从四级真题来看，听力话题范围也和托福听力也如出一辙——校园生活。

　　近三年的四级听力考题中更加明显的体现出这样的趋势，改革后的四级试卷结构更加接近于托福听力，增加的长对话题型就来源于托福听力的part B部分，甚至改革后的四级考试记分体系都在向托福*拢。

　　我在课上曾经强调，在备考四级考试听力部分时，可以适当参看95年8月以后的托福听力原文，熟悉托福听力场景，就有可能在四级听力考场上做到先知先觉。有很多同学担心，托福考试的难度大于四级，怎么可能互相借鉴？别忘了听力难度有一个重要的控制指标，语速。所以建议大家去看托福听力原文，而不是去听。
