imagine是“想象，设想；幻想，猜想；认为，相信”的意思，是动词，其名词形式为imagination。下面我们来看看它的一些用法吧。

　　1. imagine + n. / doing

　　She imagined her life without worrying about clothes and food. 她设想衣食无忧的生活。

　　I didn't imagine sharing one room with a woman who had so many bad habits. 我没想象过和一个有那么多坏毛病的女人分享一个房间。

　　2. imagine sb. doing

　　I can't imagine the quiet girl shouting aloud. 我想象不到这个安静的女孩大吵大闹的情景。

　　She imagined her friends giving her some presents for celebrating her birthday. 她想象着她的朋友们送给她礼物来祝贺她的生日。

　　3. imagine +(that)/ if / who

　　Can you imagine who is knocking at our door outside? 你能猜出是谁在敲门吗？

　　He can't imagine if his mother will be pleased at what he does. 他想象不出他妈妈是否对他的所作所为感到高兴。

　　She imagine that she's the most beautiful girl in the world. 她认为自己是世界上最美的女孩。
