For much of the season they have languished 失去活力 in bottom place of the Premier League table, failing to win a single game in their first eight matches.

On Saturday they reached a new high 又攀新高, beating league leaders Liverpool 2-1 and finally moving off bottom place in the league.
So, what has changed?
According to Spurs striker Darren Bent, Redknapp has lifted morale 志气大涨 by giving his players a new sense of self-belief 自信.
"He has made us believe that we're good players and that we shouldn't be where we are, whereas with Juande and the Spanish, it was a bit hard."
By this, Bent means that Ramos's lack of English was a big factor in Tottenham's problems before.

 Since Harry has come in everyone has had a new lease of life. That has shown in the performances.

Bent added that this rise in morale has given players a "new lease of life". To say someone has a new lease of life is to say that they have a new energy and new desire to do things.
New manager Redknapp was pleased with the result, but he admitted luck is still an important factor in football.
