加拿大移民[微博]部在4月24日宣布，为了达到今明两年移民吸纳目标，决定在明年“快速移民”(Express Entry)制度上路前，扩大受理经济类移民申请，其中技术移民申请的配额将增至2.5万个，是去年名额5倍多。移民部会将技术移民合格职业从去年的24个扩大至50个，每种职位的配额为1000个。

　　另外技工移民的名额将增至5000个，而去年该项目只受理3000个；加拿大经验类别则有8000个名额。

　　以上三种项目的受理申请的时间均是从5月1日起至今年底。

　　新的职业列表清单如下（该政策的有效期是2014年5月1日到2015年4月30日，这批申请人将占用2015年配额，因为都是2015年发签证。）：
