James Cameron
James Cameron, born in Ontario, Canada, is much more than just a director. He is a creative visionary. He pushes the line until the production meets with his high standards.
Cameron dropped out of California State University, got married and worked as a truck driver. With no formal training, he started making films. He directed and wrote the scripts for his first six films, as well as produced the last three.
The Terminator, made with a budget of only .5 million, became a financial victory. He directed, wrote, produced, and edited his most ambitious movie, 1997's Titanic. This movie won 11 Oscars. Cameron continues to push the creative envelope.
