　　credulity means a disposition to believe too readily.是指易信，亲信的意思。常用的短语有：

　　live on the credulity of the people

　　以行骗为生

　　practice on sb.'s credulity

　　利用某人的轻信

　　smooth有很多意思，在这里是指顺利，没有阻碍的意思。如果指一件事情办的很顺利，我们可以说,run smooth,进行顺利。要表达阻碍的意思可以这样用：make things smooth for sb.指为某人排除困难。我们常常看到的用法如下：
